Get ready to apply for a SAEF grant!
Sunday, September 13, 2020
Fall is upon us, and the next cycle of SAEF grants will be open to accept applications soon. Did you know any St. A sibling can apply for a SAEF grant? If you have an idea for a project for the upcoming winter or spring you may be able to have it funded
(or partially funded) by SAEF! We invite applications for programs and projects that are literary, artistic, educational, or academic in nature. We seek grant applications that are creative, that may further one’s education, that might support a program
or initiative on campus or elsewhere, or that help to promote educational opportunities for others.
In light of current events happening around the country, we would be enthused to see grant applications regarding anti-racist causes, internship funding to work on COVID-related projects, funding academic research on racism or COVID, engaging in anti-racism
training and/or service in your community, or considering creative ways to engage your hapter and your school on such issues. If you need further inspiration, examples of approved grants can be found here.
We are excited for the upcoming cycles, the deadlines for which are outlined below. You can also find more information about the application and approval process, application template, and FAQs
on the website.
- October 15: This is the deadline for grant activity you’d like to perform over winter break.
Decisions will be announced in November. Only requests for funding for projects that must be performed over the winter break should be submitted before October 15.
- November 15: This is the deadline for activities that will occur after winter break.
Decisions will be announced in January.
So get your thinking caps on and begin writing your proposals! The deadlines will arrive faster than you think.
